The newest entrant to the busy business expressway, OMR is The Gateway Hotel IT Expressway. It is a full service and upscale hospitality brand that is popular across the South Asian region for its crisp and convenient service for business travellers. The new property opened its doors to guests in August 2013 with its signature 8 zones concept - Enter, Stay, Hangout, Meet, Work, Workout, Unwind and Explore. This allows for flexibility that helps both the business and leisure traveller.

Current realty trends indicate a major housing wave that has taken the suburban localities of Chennai by storm. Vishwakarma Properties Intown has made the best of the bourgeoning demand in Kelambakkam, near the much-touted IT corridor on OMR and GST Road. The location of the apartment complex in proximity to industrial corridors SIPCOT, Siruseri and social amenities such as hospitals, schools and entertainment zones adds to the live-ability. But that is not all. Floor Plan

InTown is spread over 4 acres with 352 apartments comprising of 2BHK, with area ranging from 951-1062 sqft, compact 2BHK apartments with area ranging from 571 to 584 sqft and 3BHK units with area ranging from 1176 to 1243 sqft, with a stilt plus four floors design. There are 52 2BHK apartments, 48 compact 2BHK apartments and 76 3BHK apartments in InTown. A group of four apartments share a common lift and corridor.

There is no overcrowding of residences and there is lesser common area compared to other projects, ensuring privacy. Utmost care has gone into designing every square inch of InTown, satisfying quality-conscious customers.

The living, dining and bedrooms, and the kitchen will have 600/600mm ceramic/vitrified tiles, while the bathrooms will have 300/300mm ones. The kitchen counter top will be made of pre-polished granite with a SS sink. InTown will be self-sustained with a range of amenities. A swimming pool, gym, terrace roof garden, shuttle court, outdoor games area, jogging track, amphitheatre, intercom facility, sewage treatment plant, reticulated gas pipe connection, water filtration plant and rain water harvesting are some of the in-house facilities along with a 100 percent power back-up.

Water management

Effective sewage pipelines and a rain water harvesting unit will take care of the water management and sewage treatment for the complex.

Eco-friendly features

The construction has incorporated infill masonry walls with lightweight blocks/flyash bricks. “We have allocated 70 percent for open space, while 25 percent is for the park, play area and greenery. Moreover, a fully automated STP (sewage treatment plant) and a WTP (water treatment plant) will function inside the premises. There is an abundance of ground water supply which can be used for drinking as well,” explains the spokesperson of the company.
